JD Rossetti is a seasoned public affairs professional, which is a fancy way of saying he’s spent decades navigating the world of government relations, legislative affairs, public administration, and policy analysis—without losing his sense of humor (or his hair… mostly). With a knack for advocacy, strategic planning, and community engagement, JD has dedicated his career to shaping public policy and making a real difference.

A former Washington State Representative and School Board Director, JD tackled big issues like education, infrastructure, economic develop-ment, and public health—because someone had to. He successfully secured funding for education, mental health initiatives, and broadband expansion, ensuring that students could learn, communities could thrive, and people could finally stream their favorite shows without buffering. As a School Board Director, he championed student success, technology integration, and budget oversight, proving that yes, numbers can be fun (sometimes).

JD holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from The Evergreen State College and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs from Washington State University. Passionate about public service, policy innovation, and effective governance, JD continues to work toward policies that strengthen and support communities—one well-crafted policy (and dad joke) at a time.
